1. How can I apply for an insurance ?
To apply for an insurance appropriate application forms need to be filled out. You can either contact us directly or contact one of the MetLife intermediaries.
2. How is the premium of my policy determined ?
Several parameters are taken into consideration when calculating your premium, such as the chosen product, age, insured capital, duration of the contract, gender, etc.
3. How can I pay premiums ?
The premium payment method can vary based on the type of insurance contract:
- You can use a transfer form
- You can make a direct debit
- You can instruct your bank to pay the premium by a standing order
Don’t forget to mention your policy number when performing the payment !
4. Can I get a refund?
All MetLife policies operate with a cooling-off period of 30 days. If policies are cancelled within this period, a full refund of any premiums paid is given. After the cooling-off period, the cancellation policy varies depending on the type of policy purchased.
Full details of the cooling-off period and your cancellation rights can be found in your MetLife policy documents. Please ensure you read these carefully, to fully understand your rights. If you have any queries regarding this or how cancellations are processed, please contact the intermediary who arranged your policy.
5. Is my premium tax deductible?
Under certain conditions, premiums can be deducted fiscally. Please contact us or your intermediary to find out whether your contract is eligible. If so, we will provide you in due time with the certificates tobe submitted with your tax declaration.

Inform us, by phone or by mail, as soon as possible so we can send you the required documents immediately. You can also retrieve the requested claim documents in the claims section of this website.
